It is with much sadness we learned of the death of Kathleen Dornisch on 9/1/11. Her death was sudden and, although not totally unexpected, shocking. You don't expect anyone to pass away at the age of 53. That is far too young. Kathy was the daughter of Cass & Bill Dornisch, Jr. She was born on 5/20/1958 and was a perfect Month of May baby. Her home was in St. Petersburg, Fl for most of her life. Kathy is the sister of Bill Dornisch, Jr and Beth Dornisch McNees and they loved her. She was our Niece and Uncles Bob, Paul and Aunt Joann loved her. She was cousin to many of our children and they loved her. And she now has many more 2nd cousins who loved her also. Was she perfect? Not by a long shot. But let me ask: Are we perfect? She made her mistakes as we all have. It is a strength of this family that we have "stuck" together thru good times and bad, thru happy times and sad. This is a very sad time for us but we will come thru it stronger. If you were considering NOT coming to the reunion, please reconsider. We want to see each and everyone of you there. We have lost Grandmom and Grandpop; Uncle Bill and Aunt Cass, and now their daughter Kathleen; Uncle Jack left us 11 years ago next month. Kathleen will be welcomed by all of them. "MAY THE SOULS OF THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED, THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD REST IN PEACE. AMEN!"

Kathleen, the kids and I did have the pleasure of meeting you, if only for a few days. In the last few months we reconnected through Facebook and you had only kind words about the kids. I hope you get the rest you deserve and you will always be in our memories and hearts. RIP
